Govindudu Andarivadele actress Kamalinee Mukherjee | Photos | Video

Since its worldwide release yesterday (October 1), "Govindudu Andarivadele" has received positive reviews since its opening. It is a Telugu family drama film that stars Ram Charan, Srikanth, Kajal Aggarwal and Kamalinee Mukherjee (see photo, below). From the two actresses playing major roles in the said movie, we are featuring the latter since a previous post has already tackled the former (along with her sister Nisha).

Kamalinee Mukherjee was born on March 4 in Kolkata, West Bangal. She is quite a brainy girl, with a college degree in English literature and a background in theater acting.

She was first recognized through the Hindi film, "Phir Milenge" in 2004, where she played the role of Tanya Sanhi. The movie was said to be inspired by the Tom Hanks flick "Philadelphia", which also tackles the delicate and controversial issue of AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) and workplace discrimination.

Since "Phir Milenge", she was seen in several critically-acclaimed films such as the Telugu film "Anand", where she won the Nandi Award for Best Actress; the 2008 film "Gamyam" and the 2009 film "Gopi Gopika Godavari", for which she was nominated  for the "Filmfare Award for Best Actress - Telugu" for two consecutive years.

"Govindudu Andarivadele" may yet make her a strong contender for this year's best supporting actress category. She is really quite a stunning beauty with her girl-next-door looks (see photo).

Archana Taide, wife of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Winner Ashish Sharma | Photos

Who would have thought that Ashish Sharma - a TV actor who rose to fame through the Zee TV show "Rab Se Sohna Isshq" in 2012 - would emerge as the winner of the reality dance show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa"? I wouldn't have guessed it either.

But this post is not about him. We are focusing on his wife Archana Taide, who married him on January 30.

Why? Because she briefly shared the stage with his more famous husband when he won the said dance contest, nevertheless she has sent netizens searching for the keywords "Ashish Sharma wife" on various search engines. The photo below shows the reason why. She is pretty. I encourage big-time Bollywood or TV producers to go after her.

The format of "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" was taken from the "Strictly Come Dancing" show on BBC-UK. Its seventh season started on June 7, 2014, which featured various guest celebrity judges including the impeccable actress Madhuri Dixit (also previously featured in this blog). From more than twenty contestants - with wild card entries - Ashish Sharma (TV anchor and long-time boyfriend of Archana Taide - was picked as the winner along with Shampa Sonthalia.

The actor said this is the first time that his wife cried. Judging from what we saw on TV, I think that the emotions she showed is real and unrehearsed. We congratulate the couple for winning the "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" trophy (see photo). I believe that they both should be credited for this recent achievement. Kudos!
