Koothara Actress, Kerala State Film Awardee, Dusky-Skinned Star Bhavana | Photos | Video

As of this writing, the trailer of the Malayalam mystery-thriller film "Kootahara" was recently released (see video at the end of this blog post). The movie, which stars Bharath, Sunny Wayne and Tovino Thomas (with Mohanlal in an extended cameo role) is about the different adventures of three friends from an engineering campus. Most of its scenes where shot in the Calicut University Institute of Engineering and Technology.

But this is post is not about the movie but the sexy and dusky-skinned actress Bhavana (see photo), who joins the cast of "Koothara" by Marikar Films.

She is one of the most talented stars of the South Indian film industry, appearing in more than sixty movies. Her career extends for more than ten years and has won her two Kerala State Film Awards. Born as Karthika Menon on June 6, 1986 in Perinkavu, Thissur in Kerala, she is known by the name "Kaathi".

Yet, she is much recognized for her screen name Bhavana, which also means "calling into existence", "producing", "cultivating" and "development". The term is really suited for her (take a look at below photo and you'll see). Because after her screen debut in 2002 with the film "Nammal", she seems to have blossomed into a well-spring of Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada movies.

Leander Paes Live-in Partner, Sanjay Dutt Ex-Wife Rhea Pillai | Photos | Video

Controversies seem to hound glamorous model and brand ambassador Rhea Pillai (see photo) these days.

Some three weeks ago, she grabbed the headlines with her much-publicized fight with Leander Paes, who was a tennis ace who debut as an actor in the 2013 socio-political thriller "Rajdhani Express". The couple are not married but are currently live-in partners. For the sake of their daughter Aiyana, I hope that they soon find peace in their relationship.

The beautiful Rhea Pillai appears to have a hard time looking for "Mr. Right". Before her relationship with wild romance with Leander Paes, she was previously married to controversial film actor/producer and convicted terrorist Sanjay Dutt (fortunately, their remain to be good friends despite their divorce).

Presently, she is involved in charity and humanitarian work through the Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's Art of Living Foundation, where Rhea Pillai works as an instructor. In 2006, she was cast in a minor role for the Hindi Movie "Corporate". She looks quite classy, with curly hair, in below photo (with live-in partner Leander Paes during much happier times).
