Hello dear readers. The first post in my blog is dedicated to none other than Deepika Padukone. Because for me, she is number one in my top 100 most beautiful women in Bollywood. Succeeding posts would have no bearing with regards to rank. So, here we go.
She is my favorite female actress. I am still watching "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" over and over while praising Deepika's more mature acting alongside her former boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. Guess we are all excited for the coming "Chennai Express"!
I hope this movie, which would reunite her with Shahrukh Khan (her co-star in the reincarnation melodrama "Om Shanti Om"), would attain the same (or even greater) commercial success.
Deepika, an Indian actress and model, was born on January 5, 1986. She is daughter to celebrated badminton player Prakash Padukone (which explains her towering height of 5 foot 9 inches). Even before she was featured in her first film, Aishwarya, in 2006, she was making a name for herself as an image model and product endorser. In photo above, she poses for the Garnier make-up line. Below, she is tantalizing in a red bikini on the June 2012 issue cover of Vogue India magazine. We expect more from her!
