Main Tera Hero Actress, Hot Nargis Fakhri | Movies List | Six Photos | Video

It is evident that the Bollywood career of pretty ex-model Nargis Fakhri (see photo) is rising fast like thermometer mercury on a hot summer day. With the release of "Main Tera Hero", her journey towards stardom is now running on full throttle.

The Hindi movie "Main Tera Hero", currently showing in cinemas all across India, is a remake of the Telugu film Kandireega. Its main cast include Varun Dhawan, Ileana D'Cruz (previously featured in this blog, follow link) and Nargis Fakhri.

Some critics have begun to attack this romantic action-comedy film, saying that its plot is too shallow because the predictable love triangle angle was not developed in the story. Nevertheless, they all could agree that it would entertain audiences. In a world full of tragedy and hopelessness, I think people need a little dash (but not too much) of light-movies like "Main Tera Hero".

It is surprising that Nargis Fakhri, an American born to a Pakistani father and a Czech mother, could easily adapt in Bollywood. She was born on October 20, 1979 in Queens, New York in the United States but somehow she has fully embraced Indian culture, much to the delight of her fans (not to mention that she is truly hot and sexy!).

To satisfy her fans, we are featuring six photos of the hot American model and Bollywood actress. Here she is in the Kingfisher Swimsuit (Bikini) Calendar in 2009:

As you could plainly see, our featured Bollywood celebrity seem to be a natural in front of the camera. After all, she was discovered through the reality TV competition "America's Next Top Model" in 2004. Soon, she made her film debut through the musical-romantic drama "Rockstar". Film producers soon scrambled to make her sign a contract. I expect her acting talents to be more refined soon.

More pictures (for a total of six photos in this post!) of our featured Bollywood actress (click to enlarge):

Here's a Youtube video of her sizzling and scorching hot walk on the fashion runway:

Her filmography (movies list):
  • 2011: Rockstar
  • 2013: Madras Cafe, Phata Poster Nikhla Hero
  • 2014: Main Tera Hero
  • 2015: Spy (Hollywood)

Actress Yami Gautam : 2013 Bollywood's Best Female Debut, Latest Victim of Twitter Trolls | Photos | Video

Stop the presses! The Indian twitterverse is now bursting with jokes on pretty and talented Bollywood actress Yami Gautam (see photo), particularly on her brand endorsement of the Fair and Lovely fairness (whitening) cream.

Here's the video that created the "storm":

Twitter trolls have dished out everything against the beautiful desi celebrity. Here's a sample tweet by "Niral" (@niralsoni): "How to convert Black money into White? Just tap them with Yami Gautam's cheeks". Some people are just so mean!

To tell you the truth, I personally believe that these jokes on skin color, especially against dark skin, is so unfair and stupid. Real beauty is skin deep, so they say. Prejudice against dark-colored people is so outdated. These views belong to uncivilized slave and medieval societies, to eras when black people are regarded as commodities and (un)holy crusades were launched against Islam. There is only one race: the human race!

Enough. To the delight of our readers, we are featuring the profile of Miss Yami Gautam (see photo).

Born on November 28, 1988 in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, she is best known for her role in the romantic comedy "Vicky Donor", for which she won the Best Female Debut from the Filmfare and Zee Cine awards. Before her appearance in films, she was first seen by the public in television commercials and soap operas such as "Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam" and "Chand Ke Paar Chalo".

Her filmography:

  • 2010: Ullasa Utsaha
  • 2011: Ek Noor, Nuvvila
  • 2012: Vicky Donor, Hero
  • 2013: Gouravam, Yuddham
  • 2014: Total Siyappa, Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum, Courier Boy  Kalyan, Action Jackson
