Having the record of most wins for best female performer - with four awards - from Filmfare critics is no other than hot and sexy Indian actress Tabu, real name: Tabassum Hashmi (see photo, revealing her navel in saree, below).

Not only does she have a striking elegant presence coming from a strong face on a slim fit body frame (see hot photo). She also is a very good performer.

Her acting is truly world-class. Eventhough she appears mostly in low-budget art films, her talent has been critically-acclaimed both in India and in other countries. Aside from acting in a lead role for the American film "The Namesake", she has even co-starred in "The Life of Pi", an Oscar-winning film by distiguished Hollywood director Ang Lee.

Tabu was born as Tabassum Hashmi on November 4, 1971 in Hyderabad, Andra Pradesh. Her performance in Indian cinema, which spans more than thirty years, is indeed remarkable. I hope other celebrities in Bollywood should emulate her as a role model.

Happy Birthday Poonam Pandey (Hottest Controversial Model-Starlet in India Today) | Photos | Video

Some people say that our featured Bollywood celebrity is showing some skin in a desperate attempt to remain in the public eye. I would list her profile (including her most controversial stunts) in this post.

But first, let me first greet Poonam Pandey a warm - no, hot - greetings of belated "Happy Birthday". I was an hour late. But that's okay. Who's she? Born on March 11, 1991 in Delhi, she is a hot and provocative Indian model and Bollywood film actress (see photo below).

Her first public appearance came through modeling as she was among the top eight finalists of the Gladrags contest in 2010. She appeared on the cover page of said magazine. Soon, the pretty model (see below photo) became a calendar for Gladrags and Kingfisher, in 2010 and 2011 respectively.

Poonam Pandey then gained prominence as she promised to strip naked if India won the Cricket World Cup in 2011. Such daringness and outright display of "national pride" was enough to create enough media attention that her name was among the top keywords searched in Google India. In 2012, she bared it all after the Kolkata Knight Riders became champions of the Indian Premiere League 5.

In 2013, she officially became an actress through her mature role in "Nasha", which was her first and only film as of this writing. We hope that someday Poonam Pandey soon outgrows relying on publicity stunts (skin showing like a cheap starlet) to advance her career as a serious actress in the Bollywood film industry.
