Jahnvi Kapoor - Female Star of Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl | Photos | Video

The internet is buzzing over the female lead of the Hindi-language biographical drama "Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl" (see movie poster below from Wikipedia). We are, of course, talking about Jahnvi Kapoor.

The movie, which was released globally thru Netflix, tells the story of a female flight lieutenant and Indian Air Force (IAF) officer and former helicopter pilot. She is the first woman IAF officer to go to war as part of the Kargil War, where she was also the "first woman to fly in a combat zone".

Quite a big role for young actress Jahnvi who was born to actress Sridevi and film producer Boney Kapoor (seems acting and the movie industry is in her genes). She was born on March 6, 1997 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is really quite pretty, just like her mom (see photo below).  

Her first major role was to play Parthavi Singh Rathore in the romance film Dhadak, where she was nominated for Best Female Debut at the Filmfare Award and Zee Cine Award. Her acting course from Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institude in California, USA, paid off.

We eagerly await her coming films (to be released in 2021): Roohi, Dostana 2, and Good Luck Jerry.

Former child actress now award winning artist Fatima Sana Shaikh | Photos | Videos

It has been a while since we have posted in this blog. There has been quite a demand for younger sexy actresses from the Indian film industry so we are starting our list of newer actresses who will surely become bankable big starts in the future. 

First is Fatima Sana Shaikh. She made her mark in 2016 for her lead role as Geeta Phogat in Dangal. The said movie had her win the Best Debut (female) award at the News 18 Movie Awards and the Best Action Actress at the Jackie Chan Movie Awards. 

She is a real stunning beauty (and very young too) (see photos, do you prefer her with short or with long hair?). I like her hair when it is short. 

Fatima Sana Shaikh was born on January 11, 1990 at Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (now Telangana). Her first exposure in movies was in the late 1990s through films such as Ishq, Chachi 420, Bade Dilwala and One 2Ka 4 in 2001 as the youngest daughter of Inspector Abbas. Aside from movies, she also had special appearances in television shows such as "Best of Luck Nikki".

Sara Ali Khan - Star of "Student of the Year 2" | Photos | Video

Some critics may say that Bollywood is running out of plots and stories when it does remakes of old blockbuster movies. But I don't mind them doing a sequel of Karan Johar's "Student of the Year", the 2012 film that was sold to Sony Entertainment for a hefty sum of USD $7.4 million.

Why? Because the first film (endearingly called by fans as SOTY), which featured the lovely young actress Alia Bhatt and catapulted her to star and celebrity status.

Now, it would enjoy a remake with the enticingly beautiful young actress Sara Ali Khan (announced by her father Saif). Just look at those pouty Indian lips! (see below photo).

This blog expects her to shine in "Student of the Year 2". She will be the next bankable Bollywood Star, after all, acting is in her bloodstreams. She is the daughter of Indian film actors Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan. Soon, we predict that her pretty face will be sought as brand ambassador and endorser of consumer products, and on the cover of magazines and billboards.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu: Future Wife of Naga Chaitanya? | Photos | Videos

It has been widely rumored that Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is going to be engaged today (January 29) to fellow Bollywood celebrity Naga Chaitanya. The rumor is spreading fast as the couple is one of the hottest tandem in Tollywood.

They have been dating each other for the last two years. The marriage is unconfirmed though.

Who is Samantha Ruth Prabhu? She is a very well known actress who was born on April 28, 1987 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Though she is popular for her work in Telugu and Tamil films, a few people know that she graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Commerce from Stella Maris College. Her acting abilities has has given her the distinction of winning three Filmfare Awards, particularly in the romance flick "Ye Maaya Chesave" in 2010, "Neenthaane En Ponvasantham" and "Eega" in 2012.

Hero Star Athiya Shetty | Mehboob Photos | Video

This blog predicts that this rising new actress - who was nominated for best Female Debut in her role as Radha Mathur in "Hero" - will be one of the biggest stars of Bollywood and Indian cinema in the future.

We are talking about Athiya Shetty. Why not? She was born on November 5, 1992 to actor Sunil and director Mana. So she doesn't feel like an outsider in showbusiness.

Here she is on her birthday photos at the Mehboob Studio (see below, looks good even without makeup and on ordinary work clothes). She really stands tall at 5 feet and 8 inches!

She is really serious into acting. Athiya Shetty even enrolled at the renowned New York Film Academy, which has notable and talented young actors such as Lana Candor (as the mutant hero "Jubilee" in X-men: Apocalypse), Camilla Luddington (in the medical drama Grey's Anatomy), Alanna Masterson (the zombie hit, The Walking Dead), among others, as their alumni.

Former child actress now adult lead Anu Emmanuel | Hot Photos | Video

She now has taken on an adult lead role as Bennitta Dominic - also known as "Kunjumol" - in the Malayalam drama film "Action Hero Biju".

It marks her breakthrough into mainstream Indian cinema. Who are we talking about? No one else but the sexy and lovely former child actress Anu Emmanuel (just look at pretty face with mysterious Racoon eyes on a slim hot body! see below photo, click to enlarge.).

She now has six films to her credit - Swapna Sanchari as a child artist in 2011, Action Hero Biju, Manjnu and Oxygen, Beware of Kittu in 2016, an Thupparivalan which is pre-filming and would be shown in 2017. We expect her in more challenging adult roles in the future

Acting and movies in in her blood. Anu is the daughter of film producer and businessman Tankachan Emmanuel and a cousin of actress Reba Monica John (who is also a model). She was born in the United States, particularly in Chicago, Illinois and is said to live in Dallas, Texas.

Bigg Boss 10 Wild Card Contestant: Aparna Tilak

It seems Bigg Boss is taking a different track. While before it took on a format of celebrities versus commoners, now it is introducing wild card contestants. Enter the pretty and wholesome former child star Aparna Tilak (see photo below).

She is a model with a pleasant smile that has helped the sales of global brands such as Pepsi, Head and Shoulders, Pantene, among others, in the Indian subcontinent.

Aparna Tilak was one of the child stars on Sony TV's show "Family Number One" in 1998. She left show business to concentrate on her studies, later to graduate from St. Xavier's College in Mumbai.

But soon she returned to the limelight in 2003 with the Star Plus series "Jeet" as Janaki Sehgal (among its cast is Neeru Bajwa). But Aparna Tilak is most remembered for her role as Dr. Shalini in "Left Right Left" in 2006.

Bollywood actress scandals - debunked

The age of social media has given power to the ordinary smartphone user. Anyone – not only those from the professional mainstream media – could make fake news items and share it on the internet. It has become so much of a problem, especially in the world of politics and show business, including Bollywood, that even Facebook is now taking steps against cyber-bullying.

  

Just take a look at this viral photo from an alleged leaked MMS video. The woman taking a bath, from this horribly blurred video, was said to be Hansika Motwani of the 2007 film “Aap Ka Suroor”. Nothing could be further from the truth! Only sex-deprived Indian males who fantasize about Bollywood actresses would think that this is scandal photo involving Hansika. With such an unclear image, you may be looking at your sister or your aunty. Or worse, your mom! My judgement: Debunked!

Here is an image another video of who was said to be the Indian rapper and actress Sonakshi Sinha (see below). It was a video of a couple making love, which became viral on Whatsapp. No, the lips are different. The celebrity is wide-lipped. The woman in the video has smaller ones. Sonakshi also has a sharper chin. In video, you'd see a lady with round lower face. Still, you could wonder how much imagination could take you! My judgement: Hoax!

Allegedly, here is Radhika Apte showing her private parts in a short film that leaked out to the public. I feel sorry to those who believe in this scandal. To me, she is but a look-alike of the said Bollywood actress. If indeed she has a short film such as this, don’t you think her current managers have already bought and destroyed it to protect her onscreen image? My judgement: Debunked!

One of the most viral leaked video was this alleged lip-locking between Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor. While the girl looks like a really young Kareena – but she was much older when they became a couple – the guy in the video is nowhere near the physical features of Shahid. Sorry! My judgement: Debunked!

Beautiful Basketball Player Pratima Singh, soon-to-be wife of cricketer Ishant Sharma | Photos | Video

From time to time, we take a break from Bollywood celebrities to feature beautiful women in sports such as Dipika Pallikal and Sania Mirza. Now we focus on the tall basketball player Pratima Singh (see photo below), who is now making headlines for announcing her marriage to cricketer Ishant Sharma on December 9.

Pratima Singh was born in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh on February 6, 1990. She plays the small forward and shooting guard position for the Indian women's basketball team, at a commanding height of 5 feet 8 inches (or 1.73 meters). Her sisters are members of the national basketball squad (Priyanka, Divya, Prashanti and Akanksha).

Her skills on the hardcourt are quite amazing. She won a gold medal for India in the 1st three-on-three FIBA Asia Championship. Really really impressive. So is her beauty! Her soon-to-be-husband, cricketer Ishant Sharma must be proud of her!

Former Bigg Boss Hot Contestant Minissha Lamba | Photos | Video

The hit reality TV show Bigg Boss - the Indian edition of the worldwide series "Big Brother" - is truly a one of a kind show. It discloses celebrities and ordinary persons at their most awkward and revealing states. 

I particularly love Bigg Boss Season 8. Because – though she was evicted in later episodes – it showed Punjabi star Minissha Lamba in all her beauty. If you disagree, just look at this hot photo (see below)!

Minissha Lamba first made it into the big screen with “Yahaan” in 2005. Her performance in “Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.” in 2007, Bacha Ae Haseeno (2008), Well Done Abba (2009) and Bheja Fry 2 (2011) is much noted by critics and fans alike.

I think Nikunj Ryan Tham – Minissha Lamba’s husband since 2015, just a few months after her Bigg Boss stint – is a really really lucky guy.

Savdhaan India Episode Sexy Host Pooja Gor (Gaur) | Photos | Videos

My guess is you’re among the multitude of fans that follow the breakout hit series Savdhaan India – a reality TV show which shows real-life incidents on the day-to-day struggles of victims of criminals in their quest for justice and retribution. I myself am an avid fanatic on the said show.

Why? Aside from getting reality from news programs, I want to know what’s really happening in our country. Desperate people turn to crime. And I agree that it is time to fight back. I am digressing. I like Savdhaan India, not just for its content but for its episodic hosts. One of which is the sexy Pooja Gor, also spelled as Gaur (see photo below).

The classic beauty of her face radiates with sincere empathy to crime victims especially in the 2013 to 2015 season of Savdhaan India. Miss Gor (Gaur) is really one of our best and most beautiful television presenters.

It is not a surprise that she became one of the hosts of the said hit TV series. Pooja has been active in the business since 2009. But she is best known for her role as Pratigya in “Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya” from 2009 to 2012. Up until now, she remains to be called by her character’s name in the show (Pratigya). Audiences just love her!

Canadian born Punjab actress Neeru Bajwa | Video | Photos

Of course, Neeru Bajwa is now a mom after her birth to a daughter last May and her marriage to Harmikpal (Harry) on February 8, 2015. But that does not diminish her beauty. She seems to radiate even more with her motherhood status (just look at that glowing seductive smile, see photo below).

Neeru was born in August 26 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She began her Bollywood stint through Dev Anand’s “Main Solah Baras Ki”, a Hindi film, in 1998. Since then, Miss Bajwa (now Mrs. Jawandha) was a regular fixture on Punjab movies and Indian television shows.  

Every year, since 2011 with the film Mel Karade Rabba, she was always been nominated as Best Actress in the PTC Punjabi Film Awards. She has won it four times – in 2011, in 2012 for “Jilne Mera Dil Luteya”, in 2013 for “Jatt & Juliet”, and in 2014 for “Jatt and Juliet 2”.

South Indian Cinema's Nayanthara: Potential Award Winner for Director Anand Shankar | Photos | Video

Ever since her discovery as "Best New Face of the Year" at the Asianet Film Awards for the movie "Manassinakkare" in 2003, Nayanthara's career  has skyrocketed into one of most bankable stars of the Telugu and Tamil cinemas.

Much awaited in 2016 is a Tamil movie, directed by Anand Shankar, which would include Vikram, another big star of the south Indian movie industry. The Tamil film is yet untitled, however. This writer thinks that the coming movie is a potential blockbuster, which would reap acclamations and praise from film critics and movie fans.

Nayanthara (see below photo), whose real name is Diana Mariam Kurian, was born on November 18, 1984 in Bengaluru. Her role as Sita in Sri Rama Rajyam in 2011 earned her the Filmfare's Best Telugu Actress and the Nandi Award for Best Actress.

Her comeback after an 11-month sabbatical leave from film making in 2011 is truly unstoppable! Director Anand Shankar and Vikram would surely benefit from her acting prowess.

She remains one of the most desirable women of India (see photo). Don’t you agree?
